I'm a geek, what can I say...

As you might have gathered we've put together a brand new shiny website for the 2012 Discworld Convention, with that comes the ability to post blog posts and I thought I'd cheekily get in before anyone else noticed and post the first post.

For the 2012 convention I will be working alongside Mandy and others on the comms side of the committee, that means I get to play around on twitter, facebook and other groups whilst pretending it's for the good of the convention ;) I also get to fiddle around creating the programme book and generally working hard but having a jolly good time doing something I love (remind me I've said that when it's a week to the convention and I'm working on things at 2am).

So keep checking back to hear from not only Mandy and myself but other members of the commitee as we work together to make 2012 the best convention so far!
