Bruce Richardson
Bruce went to his first Discworld convention in 2002, where he ran the Green Room, met his wife for the first time and barely managed to see a single event. In 2004, he was Programme Assistant, met his wife again and only saw the events that he was actually running.
In 2006, he was promoted to Programme Head and is rumoured to have met his wife for 60 seconds before being locked in the toilet for the duration of the convention and not even allowed to eat, let alone see anything.
This time round he is Chairman and, if previous trends continue, won't even get to meet his wife.
If you were at the 2004 convention, Bruce was the one shouting "Jezebels!
" at the Seamstresses. There is a rumour that he later shaved off his beard in the hope that they will not recognise him again.
