Gala Dinner

On Behalf of the Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons.

Members are cordially invited to a Gala Dinner on the Sunday evening of the Convention. This prestigious event will include excellent food and music as well as speeches by some of the Sanctuary's most distinguished patrons.

The Gala Dinner is now fully booked.

We are, however, maintaining a waiting list. Please contact hotel@dwcon.org for further information.

The cost is just £40 and will include entertainment by the ever popular ZHL Strings. For those who wish to show their support in other (less expensive) ways, there will be an evening of dragon racing with wagers for those that way inclined^*. This will run alongside the Gala Dinner and will also feature an appearance by ZHL Strings.

Menu Choices

Starter

Red pepper mousse and ratatouille timbale, with a roasted pepper salad
Sliced seasonal melon with fresh fruit, mango coulis
Smoked breast of duck with marinated pears laced in a red wine vinaigrette

Main Course

Mediterranean vegetable trellis with saffron and sun blushed tomato sauce, seasonal vegetables
Stuffed chicken, filled with sun blushed tomatoes and morel mushrooms, laced with a madeira mushroom sauce, golden parmentier potatoes, seasonal vegetables
Pan fried cannon of lamb with pesto crust topping, lamb and pesto jus. Herb flavoured parmentier potatos, seasonal vegetables

Dessert

White chocolate and blueberry brûlée,
Blackcurrant bavarois with meringue topping and a red berry sauce
