Room Upgrades
Would you like to make your stay at the Convention extra special? Are you celebrating a special event or anniversary, or having your honeymoon at the Convention? Would you like more space for your costume collection?
We have the answer - room upgrades!
These specially negotiated rates are available only to members of the Discworld Convention 2008, so if you want to test the luxury behind the Hilton name without the usual price tag, now is your chance!
Upgrade prices are in addition to the normal Convention room rates and are payable per room, per night - not per person. An under occupancy supplement also applies if you are upgrading from a single standard room.
- Executive Rooms
- Available for an extra £30 per night. Normally the cost would be £60 for these 24m2 rooms, and include access to the Executive Lounge with complimentary breakfast and refreshments. Your own room will have a separate seating area with sofa, and on-demand movies to watch on a 27-inch TV in addition to everything contained in the standard rooms.
- Junior Suites
- 35m2 for an extra £80 per night instead of the usual £150. These rooms will have all the extras of the Executive rooms, plus the fluffy bathrobe, video games on TV, and some of the marble bathrooms have separate showers.
- Executive Suites
- £120 extra per room per night for Discworld conventioneers, rather than the usual £250. This will get you a room more than three times the standard size - 66m2, with a living room and separate working area. You will have all the extras noted in the upgrades above plus wireless LAN, and two washbasins in the large marble bathroom.

Please note that you must have already booked your standard rate hotel accommodation before requesting an upgrade. If the upgrade is a surprise for your companion(s), please mention this in your message - our Hotel Team will be the souls of discretion.
