- Room Rates
- The rates quoted are per person per night and represent a limited block booking that has been negotiated for Convention attendees during this event only. All occupants of a room must be Discworld Convention 2008 members. Room rates are inclusive of VAT and service charges, and include accommodation and breakfast (Continental or English). Additional nights may be booked. Prices on application from the hotel.
- Children
- No accommodation charge will be made for children under the age of 15 years of age (at the time of the Convention) if they are sharing with at least one adult. If they are in a connecting or separate room, the "per head" room rate will be reduced by 50%. Parents must ensure that small children are supervised at all times.
- Double rooms
- There are a limited number of double rooms, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If there are no double rooms available, you may be allocated to a twin room.
- Triple rooms
- One double bed and one additional bed (suitable for a couple and one other person).
- Interconnecting Rooms
- Two twin-bedded rooms. These rooms are strictly limited and will be assigned on a "per booking" basis with preference given to family bookings. If you request interconnecting rooms but there are none available when we process your request, we will contact you as soon as possible. Please bear this in mind when booking these rooms.
Car Parking
The onsite car park has 700 spaces with disabled parking spaces available close the front entrance of the hotel. Disabled badge holders also have the option to drive up to the main hotel entrance to unload and may then either park themselves or the hotel's concierge will park for them.
Booking Online
In order to complete an online room booking, you must be a member of the Discworld Convention 2008 and over 18 years of age. You will also be required to enter your postal address, a valid email address and your credit, or debit, card details. Please see our Privacy Policy regarding information confidentiality.
If you are booking shared accommodation, each person you are sharing with must also be a member of the Discworld Convention 2008 and you will be asked to enter their membership number and names, if known.
If you are booking shared accommodation but do not, as yet, have a room sharer, please be aware that we will not be able to find room sharers for you and, in the event that you cannot arrange sharers yourself, you may be liable for the full room charge.
