By Rail

The nearest intercity train station is Birmingham New Street. Change here for Birmingham International and then take the free bus to the hotel. The bus runs every 30 minutes and takes approximately 10 minutes to reach the hotel.

If you prefer to walk from the train station, simply follow the signs at the station for "Hotel and National Exhibition Centre (NEC)". Once within the NEC, look for a large sign that points to the hotel. There is also a second signpost immediately outside the Metropole itself.

We've been told that the route is surprisingly easy with a pretty lake view as you walk along.

By Air

East Midlands Airport (EMA)
From East Midlands Airport, taxis are available to take you directly to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. The journey normally takes around 45 minutes from the airport to the hotel forecourt.
Birmingham International Airport (BHX)
Regular shuttle buses connect the airport terminal to Birmingham International Railway Station, where you will be able to take the free bus to the hotel
