Karen Martin
Karen has been involved with the Discworld Convention as part of the Committee since 2004, her first Con was in 2002 and from what she remembers through the haze of time and alcohol it was more fun that sticks could be shaken at.
By day she works for a well known academic publisher based in the fair city of Cambridge (yes, yes, you can all guess which one) in the journals department where she plays with the XML files and makes sure they don't contain rude words, by night she pretends to know about publishing and is part of the Comms team for 2012.
It was discovered in 2008 that Mandy and Karen share just the one brain cell, it's probably safer for everyone that so far their plans for world domination have not come to fruition.
If you happen to see either of them, please, please, return them safely to Ops and also make sure they each have a fresh gin and (diet) tonic in their hands.
