Discworld Convention 2012: Hotel: Hilton Birmingham Metropole
The Discworld Convention 2012 will be hosted at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, 8 miles from Birmingham City centre. The newly refurbished hotel is situated right next door to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and is only 10 minutes by free shuttle from Birmingham International Airport and Railway Station.
All rooms in the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel are non-smoking.

Wireless Internet is available in all public areas (ground floor) with the purchase of a hourly or daily access card, prices will be available nearer the convention date.
By becoming a convention member you are entitled to our negotiated rates for specially laid on food and drink. If you do not wish to take advantage of these the hotel has three restaurants. Menus for the negotiated meals will be available prior to the convention.

Hotel bookings are made via the Discworld Convention Website but are held securely with the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel. All amendments, queries and requests should be made via the Convention Hotel Liaison Team.
Bookings made via the Convention may be cancelled with no charge up to 48 hours before arrival. Cancellation after this time may incur charges.
Credit card details are taken to confirm booking only, and no money will be charged until arrival at the hotel. Proof of payment will be requested on check-in, and if paying by credit or debit card a hold may be placed on deposit amounts for settlement on check-out.
