The future's bright, the future's Octarine

The Discworld Convention is a four-day celebration of Sir Terry Pratchett and his glorious astrochelonian-riding pachyderm-borne creation.

The 2012 event will take place from the 24th to the 27th of August (the UK Bank Holiday weekend) at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, in Birmingham. Barring unforseen circumstances, the Man Himself will be in attendance.

This is your chance to spend a long weekend in the company of ... errr ... 799 or more fellow fans[1], get to know them, learn interesting things, take in a show, spend all your money at an auction, and incidentally have a great deal of fun whilst doing it.

Unfortunately, the Convention is now sold out.

The waiting list is also now closed.

If you've already signed up, or just want to know what you will be missing, find out more by browsing the rest of the site. About the Discworld Convention is a good place to start.
